Yes, but with an intentional focus on quality over quantity. Think of Bison Leaf as a curated, online trade show designed specifically for the public lands community.
While general marketplaces onboard almost any applicant, creating noise for buyers and vendors alike, we host vetted partners currently working with public lands nonprofits.

No. To ensure a transparent and trusted marketplace, pricing on Bison Leaf must remain completely consistent with a vendor's direct-order product pricing.
To maintain a level playing field and protect the integrity of our community:
For Vendors: Products listed on the marketplace must match your direct wholesale rates. Out of fairness to the community and our ecosystem, vendors are strictly prohibited from incentivizing buyers to move off-platform, including offering lower or alternative pricing externally.
For Buyers: You can buy with confidence knowing you are receiving the vendor’s true wholesale rates without any platform markups.
-
Yes! Vendors and Buyers can add team members, selecting specific permissions for things like messaging and placing orders. Buyer team members who don’t have permission to place orders can create draft orders for the admin buyer to review and approve, edit or send back with comments.

Bison Leaf functions as a collaborative marketplace exclusively for the public lands wholesale community that streamlines discovery, order placement, and communication, while leaving fulfillment and billing directly in your hands.
Here is how the workflow functions from start to finish:
1. Discovery & Visibility
For Buyers: You can view, browse, and search any vendor with a published storefront and explore their individual product listings.
For Vendors: You can view a directory of buying organizations on the platform. You will only see detailed contact information for your current partners: buyers who have placed orders with you.
2. Placing & Confirming Orders
Submitting an Order: Buyers can add products to their cart and place orders directly through the platform.
Draft Recommendations: Alternatively, vendors can create a draft order recommendation for a buyer. The buyer will receive a notification and can edit, confirm, or delete the recommendation.
Vendor Review: When a new order is placed, the vendor receives a notification to review it, confirm unit pricing, add an estimated ship date, and officially accept the order.
3. Fulfillment & Tracking
Shipping Updates: Once the order is packed and ready, the vendor marks it as shipped on the platform and inputs the tracking number, which automatically notifies the buyer.
Easy Reordering: Buyers can track order statuses in their history and use one-click reordering for quick refills.
4. Invoicing & Payment (Off-Platform)
Direct Billing: Bison Leaf does not process payments. Invoicing and collecting payments are handled directly between the vendor and the buyer according to your established terms.
Facilitating Payment: To keep communication centralized, vendors can easily attach a PDF invoice directly to the order portal or message the buyer with an external payment link.
